About Kelli
Kelli Cook is native Louisianan, a yoga instructor, and health and fitness enthusiast. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the owner of Hopeful Insights Consulting, Kelli has been practicing therapy for 27 years in a variety of settings: school, hospitals, clinics, and churches. Kelli brings extensive training and experience in trauma recovery, emotional intelligence, and stress management into her therapy and training sessions. Her passion for those who have been a victim of childhood abuse and trauma is truly contagious.
She has been trained in two very effective neuroscience-based methods: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and Somatic Experiencing. She has collaborated with schools to provide a dynamic trauma-sensitive and trauma-informed and trauma-responsive trainings. Her inspirational message and neuroscience-based tools she provides to educational professionals is truly life changing. She provides trauma-informed care and a unique form of emotional intelligence trainings to hospitals, mental health facilities and medical practices. One of her most dynamic trainings is called Resiliency & Resetting, which is an experiential stress reduction workshop that provides neuroscience-based practical tools that really make a difference. Her events are dynamic and engaging! She brings authenticity and relatability to her participants and some quit-witted Cajun flare.
As the owner of Hopeful Insights Consulting, she provides consultation to behavioral health and medical entities that want to improve processes, develop high quality services, and improve patient and provider satisfaction. She is skilled in helping develop and sustain integrated care and trauma-specialty behavioral health programs.

Our Mission
Hopeful Insights' mission is to increase compassion, understanding and present avenues of healing for those who have experienced trauma and who work with this population. We give our participants tools that they can use to help reduce stress, regulate their emotions, and recover from traumatic or overwhelming experiences.
